Endometriosis affects an estimated one in ten women of reproductive age, yet it remains widely misunderstood, frequently misdiagnosed, and often undertreated. Misinformation contributes to delays in recognizing symptoms, leaving many women waiting seven to ten years for a diagnosis and enduring pain that should have been evaluated much sooner.
