Susan Stacy Lores, CNM is a Certified Nurse-Midwife with more than 40 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to women and families across all stages of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum life. Throughout her career, Susan has been deeply committed to supporting patients with both clinical expertise and genuine empathy, ensuring each individual feels informed, respected, and cared for.
Susan has practiced in a wide range of clinical settings, including hospitals, OB/GYN practices, and midwifery services throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Pennsylvania. Her extensive experience includes prenatal care, labor and delivery support for both vaginal and cesarean births, newborn assessments, breastfeeding counseling, and postpartum care. She is particularly passionate about advocating for evidence-based midwifery practices and empowering patients through education and shared decision-making.
In addition to her clinical work, Susan has held leadership roles, including serving as Director of a Nurse Midwife Program, where she guided and mentored teams, developed strategic care initiatives, and supported professional growth within midwifery practice. She has also facilitated prenatal education classes and consistently engaged in ongoing professional development throughout her career.
Known for her calm presence, attentive listening, and patient-centered approach, Susan strives to create a supportive and reassuring environment for every family she serves. She believes that quality maternity care is built on trust, collaboration, and respect, and she is honored to walk alongside patients during some of life’s most meaningful moments.
The office of North Pointe OB/GYN Associates is located on the Northside Hospital-Forsyth campus, and we perform deliveries at the Women's Center at Northside Hospital-Forsyth.
